Plot summary
Andrew Beckett, a gay lawyer infected with AIDS, is set-up and fired from his conservative law firm in fear that they might contract AIDS from him.

After his dismissal, Beckett sues his former firm with the help of homophobic lawyer, Joe Miller. During the court battle, Miller sees that Beckett is no different than anyone else on the gritty streets of the city of brotherly love, sheds his homophobia and helps Beckett with his case before AIDS overcomes him.

Rowing info
There's a quick shot during the opening credits of a four, single and pair on the Schuylkill. There are also various bits of rowing memorabilia on show in Beckett's flat, various trophies and a couple of sculling blades which appear to be painted in Penn (uni) colours.
